Mystery $ coupon to use at Kroger from Cellfire.com

At 5PM Central on Friday (June 4), log into a special area on Cellfire.com to load a mystery coupon good for dollar(s) off your next shopping trip to Kroger (or a Kroger-owned store).

You must have a Cellfire account, and your Kroger card must be linked to your Cellfire.com account.

There will be a limited supply of these coupons, so set a reminder! In case you do miss it, Cellfire will be offering more mystery coupons over the next several weeks (worth up to $10!).

Kellogg’s Cereal Coupon – $5 off 4

Go to Target.com’s site to print a coupon for $5.00 off 4 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal.

Note: If you have trouble with the link, go directly to Target.com, scroll to the bottom of the page, click on the Grocery Coupons link and then sort by “groceries” in the left column of the printable coupon page.  The coupon should be on the first 4 or 5 pages.  I was only able to print one coupon.

I haven’t printed it yet, but read on DFW Couponcuties that the coupon is good at any store.

Kroger has a 50% off sale on Kellogg’s cereal this Saturday from 8 AM to 10 PM, so this coupon will get you some cheap cereal. Look for the Toy Story display (I found one by the dairy section) to get a free cereal bowl when you purchase a box of Kellogg’s cereal. The bowl designs included Toucan (Froot Loops), Tony the Tiger (Frosted Flakes) and Toy Story.

I also found $1.00/1 peelies on boxes of Froot Loops that are good on 5+ oz containers.

Great price on batteries at Kroger

UPDATE: I tried this on Monday and it worked. I tried on Tuesday night and it didn’t, so it looks like the machines have been fixed.

Stock up on batteries at Kroger! This deal is hot especially since you can roll it (meaning use the $5 catalina on your next purchase of batteries).

Stephanie at Katy Couponers reports that the sale price for 4-packs of AA and AAA batteries and the 2-packs of C and D is $1.88, but the catalina machine is calculating them at the regular price of $3.39, so you will only need to purchase six packs to get the $5.00 catalina. Use the $0.75/1 Duracell coupon from the 11/1 PG insert.

The catalina deal is buy $10 worth of Duracell, get $2 catalina or buy $20 worth, get $5 catalina.

I don’t know if the catalina machine will be corrected and I haven’t tried this myself yet.

Check out Stephanie’s post.

While you’re at Kroger, look for B1G1 Free coupon tearpads for Trident Layers gum (on a display at the front by the checkout area). Also look for Madre y Mujer coupon booklets. When I stopped in quickly yesterday, there was a woman near the dairy section handing out coupon booklets with these coupons that don’t expire until 12/31/10:

Huggies Diapers $1.00/1
Viva Towels Single Roll packages or any one multi-pack $0.55/2
Scott Naturals Flushable Wipes Tub or one 102 ct Refill $1.00 /2

Depend underwear $1.00/1
Scott Bath Tissue, 4-pack or larger $1.00 /1
Huggies Baby Wipes Package, 64 ct or larger $0.75/1
Scott Long Lasting or Mega Roll Towels, 4-pack or larger $1.00/1
Kleenex Facial Tissue Package $0.55/1
Kotex Pads or Kotex Lightdays Pantiliners or Kotex Security Tampons $0.75/1
Jumbo Pack or larger of Pull-ups Training Pants $2.00/1
Huggies Diapers $1.00/1
2 tubs of Cottonelle Fresh Wipes or 1 84-140 ct. refill $1.00/2
Cottonelle Toilet Paper $0.75/1
Poise Pad or Panty (1) or Pantiliners (2) $1.00/1

Last day for Kroger mega sale

Today is the last day for the Kroger mega sale (Texas/Louisiana). I waited until the last minute to take advantage of this, and will be heading out today to stock up on a few items.

I primarily referred to Hot Coupon World and MyPennyPile.com to find the deals. Check these sites out for the most comprehensive match-ups.

I created this spreadsheet with the items I’m planning to buy. There are many other items on sale, but perhaps this can serve as a starting point if you haven’t been to Kroger yet or if you are thinking about making a last run. Since I won’t have time to post a photo with details, hopefully this will help someone who waited until the last minute like I did!

Kroger Mega Sale Continues…

The Kroger Mega Sale continues this week, which is great news because I only had time to do two small transactions last week.

I went out late on Halloween night. Some people wearing creepy masks pulled up next to me, driving at my speed until I looked over. After that bizarre encounter, I decided it would be best to get home and I didn’t take any photos. I will attempt to do match-ups before the weekend and photos of any transactions I do. There are quite a few match-ups at Hotcouponworld.com if you haven’t gone there already.

The sale appears to be a repeat from a year ago when I stocked up on evaporated milk, butter, hot cocoa, turkey pepperoni and more for very little out of pocket.

Omaha Steaks mailer – don’t toss it

I’ve had a lot going on lately, so I haven’t had a chance to blog. I will start back up again by this weekend.

I wanted to post something quickly about Omaha Steaks since their mailer arrived yesterday and I opened it today. I almost tossed it so I wanted to alert you to open yours if you get one.

I received a “we want you back – our holiday gift to you” gift card mailer for $20 off $20+ at Omaha Steaks. I don’t buy red meat very often, so it almost went in the recycle bin, but then I saw some small text about a gift card being enclosed.

I got a “gift card for you” for the Container Store recently and was excited until I saw I had to spend $100 first to get the additional gift card. So I thought the Omaha Steaks one might be similar. Nope! There are no conditions. Pretty nice!

Omaha Steaks also sells side dishes, desserts and even dog treats so even if you don’t eat meat, you can still get stuff there.

If you get one of these mailers, be sure to open it!

On a separate note, if you haven’t already heard the news….there’s a Kroger mega sale going on now! Head over to Katy Couponers for match-ups (Stephanie is the moderator for the Kroger forum on Hot Coupon World).

I haven’t had a chance to look at the deals other than reading bits and pieces about all the freebies you can get.

Kroger Catalina Promo & Hot Coupon for Pillsbury

I stopped by Kroger on Monday to see how far away I was from the $300 minimum I need to meet by the end of today in order to get a 10% off coupon. I was surprised to see I’m only $72 away, but that is still a lot for me to spend in one day at Kroger. Fortunately the $300+ is after coupons, so I may be able to reach it if there are any good deals in Wednesday’s ad.

If you’re trying to meet the minimum that Kroger listed on your receipt (some lucky customers have lower minimums!), remember today is the last day to try to meet it. Go here for 9/30-10/6 match-ups.

While I was at Kroger, I received a catalina announcing an upcoming Pillsbury refrigerated product promotion. Buy any Pillsbury Refrigerated Baked Goods between 10/5-11/1:

Buy (3) & get $2.00…
Buy (4) & get $2.50…
Buy (5) or more & get $3.00…
—coupon off your next order (aka “catalina”- which prints out at the register)

Hot Coupon!
Stephanie at Couponing101 recently mentioned this printable $1.00/1 coupon for Pillsbury Crescent Rolls. You can print another two here.

Based on past experience, there’s a very good chance you can get free crescent rolls with this coupon. If that happens during this catalina promotion, it could be a little moneymaker! Print these soon as they’ll likely reach the limit and disappear soon.

Here are some more places to get Pillsbury coupons:

Coupons.com – $1.00/2 printables
Cellfire.com – $1.00/2 loadable coupons for your Kroger card. Be sure to load them before the new ones go up next Tuesday!
Shortcuts.com – $1.00/2 loadable coupons for your Kroger card.
If you’re new to loadable coupons, read some instructions for Cellfire at the bottom of this post, and feel free to email me if you have questions.
Newspaper inserts: Various Pillsbury coupons are in 8/9 GM and 9/13 GM. A new batch of Pillsbury coupons should be in the 10/4 SS inserts. Check out the list here:
