If you live near the Shops at Willow Bend in Plano, mark your calendar to attend The Medical Center of Plano’s Heart Smart Saturday featuring the Day of Dance on February 27, 2010 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be several free health screenings, but you need to call ahead to register.

What will I learn?
You will start by learning about your risks, discovering new ways to improve your diet, and by getting information on the latest advances in cardiovascular health. Plus, you will have the option to take part in free* health screenings located in Dillard’s Court. These include:

- Cholesterol & Glucose Testing (fasting required)
- Heart Rhythm Checks
- Blood Pressure
- Stroke Risk Assessment
- Body Fat Analysis
- Posture & Balance Checks
- Grip Strengths
- “Ask a Pharmacist”

Will there be anything fun for the family?
Yes! Heart Smart Saturday also features the Day of Dance, a national celebration of the benefits of dance as a way to enjoy life and exercise to prevent heart disease. There will be continuous dancing and music with a DJ from 10:00 – 3:00 pm. Wear your dancing shoes and get ready to shake, rattle and roll!

Who should attend?
This event is open to everyone, especially those who are interested in simple ways to stay heart-healthy or improve your overall health. If you have a heart, we want to see you here!
