Staples – Duracell Battery Deal


What: Buy a 20-pack of Duracell Batteries, get 100% in Staples Rewards in January
When: From November 27 – December 26, 2009

Requirement: You must be a member of Staples Rewards, but it’s free to join (learn more about the program).

I received my $40.40 Staples Rewards check a few weeks ago (from a backpack purchase before school started). I used it to purchase:

- Two 20 packs of Duracell AA batteries
- GE 4 device remote (Fri/Sat ‘free after rebate’ item in ad)
- Sharp Calculator (Fri/Sat ‘free after rebate’ item in ad)
- Targus 208-CD/DVD holder ($10)

I used an Office Depot $10 off $50 coupon (Staples takes competitor coupons) to get the CD/DVD holder for free.

I will receive a Staples Rewards check for the batteries ($25.98) to use on a future Staples purchase and $16.99 in rebates back.

If you go on Saturday, be sure to take the 10% off one item coupon that was in the newspaper (or you can print it here).
