Box Tops for Education Newsletter
In February, I posted about an opportunity to get a Box Tops for Education collection box for free (unfortunately it expired 4/15).
Even though my daughter and I made a special collection box (the one with all the stickers in the photo above) when she was three, I thought it would be nice to give my parents a collection box too so they would have a visible reminder to save their Box Tops.
For years, I saw the Box Tops logo on products I’d purchase, but I never did anything with them. But I now see how easy it is to help raise money for local schools, even if you don’t have a child in school, and wish I had done it sooner.
The tough part for me was remembering to clip the Box Tops before I threw away the package. But by creating the collection bin and keeping it on the kitchen counter, we have collected several hundred box tops for my daughter’s school.
