AMEX Small Business $25 Credit Extended through 12/31

Small Business Saturday from American Express

On November 9, I wrote about the $25 credit you could get on your American Express Card if you enrolled and participated in Small Business Saturday on November 27. If you didn’t see this or you didn’t participate, you still have time! American Express has extended the program through December 31.

This means you can shop at any local (not online) small business that accepts American Express between now and December 31 and receive a $25 credit on your American Express card.

Use this free money to buy teacher gifts, stocking stuffers, food for holiday parties, etc.

I stopped by T. Hee Greetings & Gifts in Dallas today and saw many items for under $25 that were adorable. They have two east Dallas locations. If you need monogrammed items, stationery, holiday cards, ornaments or other gifts, and live in the area, you might check them out. I am trying to decide if I want to buy items there or at a local coffee shop or at another small business retailer in my neighborhood.

Be sure to enroll your card and read the terms & conditions before you use your card.

See details on Facebook too (look for the extension announcement from Amex on November 28).

Dallas Readers: Free Pei Wei lunch at secret location (10/28)

Pei Wei Freebie

Pei Wei’s marketing folks alerted me that on Thursday, October 28 from 12PM-1PM, Pei Wei will give free Grilled Thai Sausage with a pineapple fried rice to the first 250 people to arrive at the secret Dallas location.

Check out their Facebook and/or Twitter page Thursday morning to get the location details.

From reading their Facebook page, it sounds like the location might be a public location like a park.

It’s not something we will be able to take advantage of, but I hope someone can!
