I received an email today stating that the Redbox Monthly Movie Monday program is changing. In order to get the code for a free rental, you must sign up to receive a unique code via text message. So much for getting a free movie rental if you’re on a plan where you have to pay a fee to receive text messages!

Too bad they can’t set something up like Swagbucks uses with the unique codes.

I noticed this one on a Facebook ad. I am not sure if all Albertsons will be running this promo. If your Albertsons operates under the Albertsons LLC company, then it should. InsideRedbox listed a new code that is meant to get a free DVD rental at H-E-B Grocery Stores. It has been reported to also work at *some* other locations.

If you really want a free movie, give it a try. Take some of these other codes with you in case you need to try another and haven’t used them yet.
