Michaels is having a “Madness Event” this Sunday (1/23) from 4PM-8PM.
Print the 25% off coupon, which excludes clearance, but doesn’t say it excludes sale items. See the coupon for other exclusions.
I only use these 25% off coupons to buy sale items that will be 40% off or more, or on small items that would take a long time to get with 40% off coupons (e.g. individual sheets of scrapbook paper). Otherwise I would prefer to use the 40% or 50% off coupons when I shop for arts and crafts supplies.
If you have the shopkick application on your Android phone or iPhone, you can get a $5 off $5+ at any American Eagle Outfitters Store through January 23.
I stopped by American Eagle Outfitters and they have some items on clearance, including jewelry for around $6.50.
There is also a Macy’s coupon – $10 off $50 (excludes Super Buys and Specials).
You just redeem the coupon at the stores by showing them your phone screen.
Not familiar with shopkick? Read what I wrote about them when they had the free Diet Dr. Pepper promo at Target.
Get a $20 gift card code for Amazon.com for only $10!!
Visit LivingSocial.com to sign up and purchase this group deal. LivingSocial.com is one of the many group coupon sites that has popped up over the last year.
This deal will end approximately 28 hours from the time I posted this, but the Amazon.com gift card will never expire.
If you have an iPhone or Android phone, check out shopkick.
It is a free application that gives you access to special coupons, freebies and other deals, as well as the ability to earn “kickbucks” that you can redeem for gift cards. I downloaded it last month to get a $10 Sports Authority coupon.
Yesterday, I noticed Target has a coupon for a free 2 liter of Diet Dr. Pepper.
The coupon will be available until January 7. All you have to do is click “Use this Offer” and then you’ll get a barcode that the Target cashier scans so you can get the product for free. The coupon expires 12 hours after you click the button, so be sure to click it once you are in the Target or on your way there.
To accumulate more kickbucks (to redeem for gift cards eventually), you can scan products or walk into stores. I haven’t been able to get the walk-in kickbucks to work, but I have scanned products to earn more kickbucks and it was easy. I also click on all the stores in the list that offer kickbucks on a daily basis to get the kickbucks. I have enough kickbucks for a $2 Best Buy gift card, but I’m going for the Target gift card!
I have not connected my phone app to Facebook. I didn’t like how much access the application wanted to my Facebook data. Be sure to look at it closely before you connect them to decide how much of your privacy you want to give up.

Holiday Cookie Exchange – Giveaway: Betty Crocker Cookie Mix, GladWare & $25 Safeway Gift Card (12/27)
Are you planning to attend any holiday cookie exchanges in the next few weeks? Or do you plan to give cookies as a gift this holiday season?
Through Tuesday, December 14, visit the Safeway family of Stores (which includes Dominick’s, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Vons, and Genuardi’s) to purchase any two participating Gladware products and get a free Betty Crocker Cookie Pouch while supplies last.
If you picked up a copy of the Safeway “Thanksgiving” $60 in coupons booklet, there is a $1.50/2 GladWare products coupon inside that you could use for this promotion. The booklet came out in early November, so chances are slim that you will find one if you haven’t already gotten it, but I have heard a few people have found them at select stores, so you never know.
We can no longer eat Betty Crocker cookie mixes (or any mixes for that matter), but I used to make their chocolate chip, chocolate oatmeal and sugar cookies pretty regularly. It was so easy to make great tasting cookies, but I never thought to take them to a new level like many of the recipes on BakeSweetMemories.com do. I’d love to try the Turtle Tassies. Yum!
The Bake Sweet Memories Website also offers a section on how to host a cookie exchange, in case you need ideas.
And while you’re at the Bake Sweet Memories Website, play the instant win game for a chance to win free baking products from Betty Crocker. I played and won a coupon for a free pouch of Betty Crocker Cookie Mix that was loaded directly on my Tom Thumb shopper card. Maybe I’ll use it to add cookies to my daughter’s teacher gifts.
Win a “Happy Holiday Treats” Prize Pack
Mandatory Entry (must be completed first): To win a package of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix, a GladWare sample pack and a $25 Safeway gift card (also valid at Dominick’s, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Vons, and Genuardi’s), tell me which cookie recipe you most want to try this holiday season.
Additional Entries (optional):
1 – Visit BakeSweetMemories.com and play the Instant Win Game. Let me know if you won or not. If you won, let me know what you won! (+1)
Disclosure: Safeway, Betty Crocker, and Glad provided me with the gift card, information, and prize pack through MyBlogSpark, but I was not obligated to host the giveaway or post this information.
UPDATE: This has been extended for two more days until December 14!
I received an email from JSH&A Marketing Public Relations agency about a hidden Groupon deal (at least I am not able to see it on my Groupon page – others may?).
Through Sunday, December 12, you can purchase a $1.00 Groupon to get three Redbox rentals.
The Groupon expires March 10, 2011 and can be redeemed at any Redbox kiosk. Kiosks can be found at many locations such as Kroger, Walgreens, and Walmart.
It looks like you can redeem each rental on a different night. You will have to swipe a credit card, but you will not be charged if you return the DVD by 9PM the following night. I haven’t rented from Redbox in many months, but when I did, I never had any problems with my rental experience.
If you have been accumulating Groupon “G” Reward Points by looking at the daily deal, be sure to redeem 100 Gs to get this deal for free.
Don’t have a Groupon G Reward account? I have four invites left, so leave a comment letting me know you want one. The first four people to request the invite will get it. Note: You must have an active Groupon account AND have purchased at least one Groupon in the past to become a Groupon Rewards member.
Go here to read more about the Groupon or to buy it. The page states there is a limited quantity available, so this could be pulled at any time.
