I just noticed in Sunday’s SmartSource insert that there’s a $2.00/1 coupon for HammerMill CopyPlus Paper. It’s on sale for $0.50 this week at Staples (after EasyRebate), so this becomes a moneymaker with the insert coupon. There is a limit of two per household.
There’s also a $5.00/$50.00 coupon at the Staples Website that you can print to use at the store.
Luv a Bargain has a scenario where you can get several items at Staples for $1.54 after rebates and coupons. With the HammerMill coupon, it looks like you can get everything for free and some overage (after rebates).
I just got a Staples rebate card in the mail on Friday, so I plan to use that to pay for my purchases!
I have been working on client stuff and it’s late, so I haven’t carefully checked this deal. Please double check it before you head to Staples. If you notice anything I’m missing or you have a scenario you’d like to share, please let me know!
Staples has several “free after Staples Rewards” items from January 10-16. If you’re not a member of Staples Rewards, learn more here. It’s free to join and you can enroll online.
Here are the items:
- M By Staples Perforated Writing Pads, Letter Size (6/pack) – $7.99
There is a limit of one of each per household.
Also take a look at the Staples ad for the eight items that are $1.00 each with coupon. Once you’re on the site, click the “Upcoming Weekly Ad” link in the dark gray, horizontal bar.
What: Buy a 20-pack of Duracell Batteries, get 100% in Staples Rewards in January
I received my $40.40 Staples Rewards check a few weeks ago (from a backpack purchase before school started). I used it to purchase:
- Two 20 packs of Duracell AA batteries
I used an Office Depot $10 off $50 coupon (Staples takes competitor coupons) to get the CD/DVD holder for free.
I will receive a Staples Rewards check for the batteries ($25.98) to use on a future Staples purchase and $16.99 in rebates back.
If you go on Saturday, be sure to take the 10% off one item coupon that was in the newspaper (or you can print it here).
Now’s the time to stock up on school and office supplies! Here’s what’s free at Staples this week:
Free Backpack (after Staples Rewards) - Staples Rewards members get 100% of the purchase price of one backpack back in Staples Rewards. Rewards will be mailed in October. It’s free to join and worth doing if you shop at Staples.
I really wanted to get my daughter a rolling backpack for next year, but didn’t see any in the backpacks section. I passed by the clearance area at the back of the store and they had the rolling backpacks there! $52.99 backpacks were marked down to $32.00.
I also purchased these free after rebate items (but left them at my parents’ house):
Zebra Sarasa Retractable Gel Pens, – medium, black (5-pack)
Zebra Cadoozles .7 mm mechanical pencils (10-pack)
Staples Slim-line Pencil Sharpener
Pentel Handy Lines Retractable Assorted Highlighters (4-pack)
I will submit all four items above to stapleeasyrebates.com to receive a rebate by mail for $23.96, and will look for my Staples Rewards in October for the backpack (and other) purchases.
I stopped at Staples today to get two packages of Staples copy paper and two packages of Staples Photo Plus paper. I used the $5.00 off $20 or more coupon that was in last Sunday’s paper, which brought my total to $24.20 after tax.
I will submit the four items for the Staples Easy Rebates (which really are easy and can be done online so no additional postage costs) to get $25.34 in rebates, turning this purchase into a $1.14 money maker!
I was so excited to see the free Bic pens at Staples starting on Sunday, May 3, that I missed the other (even more fabulous) deals in the ad.
Deal #1 – Free Ghiradelli Luxe Chocolate Bag after Rebate (Price: $3.99 – Limit 1)
Deal #2 – Free Casio KL-60L Label maker after Rebate (Price: $19.99 – Limit 2!!)
If you’re planning an organization project, definitely pick up a label maker. I didn’t know if I’d use the one I purchased (at full price, before I started bargain shopping!), but I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it.
Thanks to Joyce for posting these!
